Security by architecture

Your AI can do the work without holding the keys.

Dear.so’s local Rust kernel owns credentials, permissions, persistence, and filesystem access. Agents get the minimum capability required for the selected task.

01

Credentials stay local

Business credentials are encrypted on your device and supplied only to the isolated process doing the work.

02

Every action has a boundary

Signed Connected Apps declare exactly what they can read or change. The local kernel validates each request before it runs.

03

Browsers stay separated

Each project gets its own persistent browser session, isolated from every other project and from Dear.so itself.

Questions, answered

The short version.

What is Dear.so?

Dear.so is a desktop AI workbench for getting real work done across business systems, source code, email, and the web. You connect the tools you already use, describe an outcome, and work with Codex or Claude in one focused workspace.

Which platforms does Dear.so support?

Dear.so works with Odoo, ERPNext, WordPress, TallyPrime, Gmail, email, GitHub, GitLab, local files, and browser-based work. Your workspace makes each connection explicit, so you always know what the agent can reach.

Does Dear.so store my business credentials?

Credentials are encrypted locally and owned by Dear.so's Rust kernel. AI providers receive a short-lived capability for the selected project, never your raw business credentials.

Which AI providers can I use?

Dear.so detects your own Codex and Claude installations. You choose the provider and model for each conversation; Dear.so does not silently replace or upgrade them.

What does Dear.so cost?

Dear.so is free for individual use. Dear.so Team is $39 per seat each month, with workspace controls and team support. AI-provider subscriptions and API usage remain with the provider you choose.
